FORBIDDEN KISS

Vizeria is a village where lots of people believe that vampires really exist. Vampires, kill people just to fulfill their lust for human blood. Some of villagers believe in this legend, but most them do not. Old Julian is one of the villagers who believe the legend. He lives with his grandchild named Alice. She lost her parents because of an animal attack in which according to Julian was caused by the blood suckers.

Alice used to hate vampires until she met with zero, a vampire who saved her life from an animal attack in the forest. Since that occasion they became friend. Her hatred toward vampires was getting less bit by bit. They became used to spending the time together in the forest. One day, Alice had promise to meet Zero in the forest where they used to meet. At this meeting both Alice and Zero intended to admit their concern for each other, but something happened to Alice. Suddenly she felt sick. Her body wouldn’t move as she wanted it to. She had to push herself hard to move her legs forward. Grand father Julian realized that Alice was unwell. Alice knew that something was wrong with her body, but she insisted that everything was alright and she would get better after taking some rest. She lay down on her bed, wondering what was happening to Zero, what he would think of her.

The sky was getting dark and Zero started to feel anxious. He decided to walk around to see if Alice was alright or not. He checked everywhere in the forest carefully, but Alice was nowhere. Desperate, he decided to check further. When he was near the village he could hear hundred sounds of the villager’s heart beats. “Even though, I could hear most of the hearts in this village, still I can’t make sure which one is your heart, Alice please let me know where you are now!” murmured Zero.

The next day, Alice did not come. This made Zero insane with worry. Meanwhile Alice body was getting worse she started to say Zero’s name aloud in her sleep, which made her grandpa worried. He tried to find out who Zero was, but he couldn’t find anything. This went on for weeks. Alice’s body got thinner and thinner. Her smile faded but her eyes were still bright. There was life in these eyes. After a long time of waiting for Alice, Zero couldn’t wait anymore. He brought himself to the village, right in front of Alice door. Julian opened the door and was started by Zero’s appearance. In first sigh Julian could recognize what short of man was in front of him. He realized why he couldn’t find the man called Zero, at the same time he realized he would lose his beautiful grandchild as a human being.

Old Julian brought Zero to the place where he shouldn’t. He opened the door for Zero. By the time Zero’s eyes found where Alice lay down weekly, Alice’s head moved and her eyes lit up to find Zero. She tried to move her arm to reach Zero, but she was too weak to move her body. Zero went to her and kissed her forehead. “Don’t you know how worried I am when I can’t see you? How dare you hide from me?” Zero bent his head and kissed her again. Don’t you dare do it again!! Alice’s face was full of tears, but she was happy. “I know that you will come for me”. She felt suffocate; she tried hard to say the word that she had wanted to say along time ago. She knew that it was the last chance she had to say the words. “Zero when I saw you for the first time, I know that I would never take my eyes off you. I love…!!

Before she could finish her word, she felt Zero’s lips on hers, moving down to her neck. The world felt empty, and dark. She could feel Zero’s white teeth on her neck. By the time she woke up. She felt dizzy and she knew that she would always be with Zero from now on, and she had all the time to say how in love she was with him.
